About the course
In this 8-week Melbourne mindfulness course, you will discover how to integrate and apply mindfulness to your everyday life and to the range of challenges arising from daily life stressors. The course is a systematic, intensive training in mindfulness meditation and mindful Hatha yoga. It is appropriate for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Each week for eight weeks, we meet for two to two and a half hour sessions. Toward the end of the course, we gather for a one day mindfulness program, which takes place on a Saturday or Sunday. Classes are limited in size to ensure that everyone has a chance to participate.
Together, over the course of the 8 weeks, we gain a deeper understanding of stress. We learn skills and techniques to manage it with greater ease in our daily lives. We focus on the experiential cultivation of positive health behaviours and developing psychological and emotional resilience for life-long stress management.
